Chocolate and Rawsberry Smoothie

image

Breakky time with a little improvised smoothie. I grabbed what I had home and put it in our blender. This is what it turned out to be:

Rawsberries
Blueberries
Holistic Chocolate Protien
Ricemilk

Still tasted pretty good without any sugar, gluten and lactose. Now off to the city for yoga and meetings (:

Stockholm

Started my morning with some yoga at a new studio today. I do like to practice yoga on my own but it’s completely different when you’re in a studio. The 70 minutes flew by with the sweat dripping but by the end of it I just wanted more. A sushi for lunch and some catching up with friends and family makes my day complete. I’m actually enjoying being off the water for a bit, sometimes when you look at things too closely you get caught up in the situation so it really helps to get a fresh angle on everything. (I know could I be anymore vague 😉 ).
Anyways, Sweden is really cold at the moment and I’m using all my O’Neill winter gear to stay warm. It’s kind of pretty too, I took a walk with Trudi yesterday by the lake close to my house and made cinnamon buns since my fall mood is starting to appear. The few hours of sunlight makes me want to be out in them and use my time as well as I can. The dark nights makes me wanna light candles and drink tea. I’m listening to the live broadcast from cable worlds a lot. Soo proud of Judith Hoppe who came 4th in her first ever worlds in the girls category!! The rest of the team is doing great as well and I love the updates they are throwing up on facebook. If you wanna stay updated you should like Wakekommittens facebookpage.

Off to have dinner with my sisters!! So excited! (:

Stockholm

Great first week-end back in Sweden! I had time to meet up with most of my closest friends and had an amazing dinner party and a night out. My favorite part of the night was having a few drinks with my friends and laugh my abs sore at their comments. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen them and I loved it. The night took us out to Sturecompagniet and Suite but I’m not really a big fan of those kind of places so it wasn’t a too late evening for me.

Anyways, love you girls! (:

Oops forgot to hit “post” ;)

Last day at Xtreme Gene for this season. It’s been the such a great summer and season. I can’t believe that it’s thanks to my appendix bursting that I even discovered this place. I was so devestated that I would miss the world cup and therefore not afford to go and train in Orlando which was my original thought. Then this job offer presented itself and I decided to take a chance. I’m so happy I did, I’ve met so many amazing people, both riders, photagraphers, coaches and Becky. 😉

This season I stuck both the dream tricks I had when I started wakeboarding. Well they’ve changed a bit now and were no longer my ”dream tricks” but it still feels pretty damn good!
I had my first injuries when my knees started spooking up on me which made me take up Yoga and for the first time I fully apreciated what an impact it had on my life.
I almost ran this really great wakeboarder over when I was driving chase boat for him and he ended up becoming my boyfriend and has helped me so much when I’ve felt stressed or down due to upcoming competitions.
This amazing girl who in the beginning was just my room mate (and didn’t complain about my exploding bag) helped me so much with my riding and my mood when I was hurt and couldn’t ride a big wake. I loved our girls boat early sessions with ”I come from a land down under” and five blasting in the speakers.

Riders like Jordan, Dylan, Frenchy, Andres, Sian, Davie, Lauma and so many more has inspired me this summer and I never would have spent this much time with them if I hadn’t been to Xtreme.

I’m so thankful for the great weeks of summer and I already miss everyone. Thank you Matt, Debbie and Andres I can’t wait to see you next year!

Fistpump moment

The moment when you go to Maccers to get a mcflurry and the mashine breaks in the middle of yours and the whole jar of smarties rain down in your ice cream. Love it!
