Cable Worlds

Our first day for cable worlds is officially over and team Sweden has had a crazy day. The first Swedish riders out on the water were Erik and Fredrik (aka. Svampen) in junior wake-skate. Unfortunatley both of our super wake skaters had falls on tricks they normally stomp and they didn’t go straight through to the finals but they have a second chance in the LCQ tomorrow.

Next up was Christian in Junior men wakeboard who killed it with the best rail riding in the whole division (according to team sweden and we maaayy be a bit biased… ). This resulted in him making it through to the next round!!

The last rider for the day was Marcus (aka Stekarn) who rode in Masters men. He had a great stand up run but unfortunately missed out and will aslo proceed to the LCQ.

Tomorrow the rest of the team will ride, including myself so we are all super excited and a little nervous. I have a crazy heat with two previous world champions and “rider of the years” for 2013 and 2012 Julia Rick and Sophia Reimers. I also have the new rising star and world cup medalist Sanne Meijer along with the rail ripper Steph Caller so my chances of making it through straight away are pretty tough. We will see tomorrow at one a clock though and I am super excited to be here!! 🙂
