To busy being 21 to blog!

I miss Australia and the 35 degrees right now. Guess today will consist of more yoga and facebooking.

So today its about 13 degrees and rain is in the air. I didn’t bring to much warm clothes so I’ll be piling on everything I’ve got to go in the boat today. Luckily I have my psycho 2 wetsuit so at least I wont freeze in the water (a good reason to ride a lot?). My body has been so sore from getting back on the water though, I’ve been struggling to lift the fork at dinner. After last nights yoga I feel a little bit better today so now I’m ready to hit the water again.

I started my morning with some coffee and syndicate wake mag. When I flipped the page I was up for this little surprise.. (:

First day here at the Camp was Epic! It’s pretty quiet my first 3 days and the whole lake was just butter! It’s a massive dam and we are pretty much the only boats in it since the camp is located a little off from the city. I had time to get 2 sets in today and I can feel my legs being really tired after being off the water for a few weeks. When I wasn’t riding or driving the boat I was tanning on the dock in my dad’s old sunnies which I stole from him before I left. I guess they are from sometime around the 70’s what do you think? Now we are going out with the campers for pizza! Talk to you later!

Time to leave this cold country again for a while, next stop is Cordoba Spain! Can’t wait to ride again!

Just set my alarm for when I’m waking up tomorrow. Sick!

Yesterday morning I was, to be modest, a little beat after the JOI after party. Therefore it took me a while (about 4 hours) to get out of bed and into my snowboots. I got a text from my team mate Marcus that I was going to ride the red bull home run and after that I just had to wake up. Its basically this contest with 500 competitors who start up on the top of the mountain and then you have to run to your skis or board, put it on and race down to the afterski. First one down takes it all and wow it was a mess! I got beaten my both my dad and Marcus but the afterski was amazing with champagne going everywhere and people rocking on top of the tables. Such a good event!!
