So, we had our demo today. The weather was pretty off and we had to wake up at 7 am to do the opening ceremony at 8 o clock. There was like no spectators there at all when we showed up and everyone were kind of grumpy that we had gotten out of bed early for no-one. Then all of a sudden this massive crowd all dressed the same showed up. Probably thousands of people and we think they were students with uniforms, Andrew threw out the comment “ren a crowd” which still makes me laugh when I think about it.
We rode a “fake contest” and since it was so cold most people didn’t want to fall so everyone safed it and we got scores by some people in the boat. I got 12 points on 4 inverts and some grabbed 180 and I didn’t fall in the (surprisingly) cold water!
