At the Site

Over internet

Been on my computer for 2 straight hours trying to book  my flights for World Cup. Thanks Xtravel for helping me as much as you have!

Anyways, the team had it’s practice and now we’re eating lunch and waiting for the competition to start. First out is Judith in girls division and then our wakeskaters. Open Women and Men don’t ride until tomorrow so plenty on time to chill.

2nd day

Got crazy sun today when I fell asleep after 2 rides today. Still can’t get my Raileys down on this cable so no blind J’s for me.. ): The rest of the team is shredding. Benjamin lands ts bs 7’s like they’re nothing, Anna throws her newly learned BS 3’s and Judith landed another crowmobe (!!).

They guys have noticed that the culture is a bit different here than they’re used to. Last night they went down town and managed to get in trouble with a bouncer after that the didn’t get in.

Bouncer: The club is full guys, sorry…
3 young looking girls walks right by the line and the bouncer lets them in
Jeremia:
Oh yeah? But you have room for some 14 year old girls?
The bouncer grabs a hold of Jeremia and drags him away without Jeremia resisting

And many more stories that I seem to miss.

Belgrade

Just landed in Belgrade for cable Europeans today after a hard goodbye at the airport. The cable is low, loose and the obstacles are bad so I’m a little bummed out about todays riding. It’s so crowded here that I only got 2 runs in during an hour today.

The rest of the time I spent tanning, shopping and walking around the city. Anna, Judith and I got a tour from some locals whom we also had dinner with at this café downtown.

Early practice sets tomorrow so going to sleep now.

This week-end

This week-end was fun! I got to ride at a really central spot in Stockholm with the Froggy Crew. It was pretty crazy with all the boats roaming through and the big ferries all around. The water was super choppy but me and Oskar from Linköpen both managed a couple inverts. Check some pics that my dad shot here! (:

Stockholm

4 people, 7 boards, 5 bags of candy and lots of stuff. We got in the car and drove to Stockholm to go and ride at Hamnfestivalen with Froggy later today.

One piece

I picked up this baby at Froggy the other day. Looks really good if you match it with an axe when you chop wood for the hot tub (:

Fagersta

Got in my car (which we recently named Biebs after a certain teen-singer whom I may or may not have a CD of named “guilty pleasure” in my car), and drove to Fagersta to ride with Jeremia and Nick for a couple of days. Had such a good time at WCPE with the best company. For example the people from GBG wake which by the way have their own blog called “Bring Your Own Board” www.byob.nu. They put up some pictures from this week-end there, check it out!

I landed another new trick yesterday, roll to blind. Love riding at the perfect spot, especially when I get super coached by Terry. (: Can’t wait to go and ride boat later today.

Chillin’ in the Hot tub at the Spot

New Trick!

I was pretty much alone at the Spot yesterday so I rode until I couldn’t move. Got some sick coaching and had some great sets where I landed my first couple Blind Judges (raily’s to blind). Great day! Now I just had some breakfast and booked my tickets for Serbia and European Cable Championships next week. Life is good right now!

Found this picture from Cope N’ Waken which makes me wanna go back to Denmark and also makes me miss Denise but I’ll see her next week! Yeey! (:
