So, we had our demo today. The weather was pretty off and we had to wake up at 7 am to do the opening ceremony at 8 o clock. There was like no spectators there at all when we showed up and everyone were kind of grumpy that we had gotten out of bed early for no-one. Then all of a sudden this massive crowd all dressed the same showed up. Probably thousands of people and we think they were students with uniforms, Andrew threw out the comment “ren a crowd” which still makes me laugh when I think about it.
We rode a “fake contest” and since it was so cold most people didn’t want to fall so everyone safed it and we got scores by some people in the boat. I got 12 points on 4 inverts and some grabbed 180 and I didn’t fall in the (surprisingly) cold water!
Anyways, here are some pictures:
The entrance to our hotel. “The international ski show match”
This is the boat we are riding after…
Everyone goes in the boat to make the wake bigger though so it’s a great atmosphere
Sasha goes out and the boat almost sinks from all the boys
